TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background is relevant. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
